Ethernet Power Supplies

Power Supplies for Hirschmann Industrial Ethernet offer a range of AC and DC power supplies. Units with AC power input ranges of 100-240 VAC and 100-375 VDC.

There are units available that convert to either 24 VDC or 48 VDC.

The Hirschmann power supply products have been tested for electromagnetic interference and for safety and have the relevant approvals (varies by model). The Hirschmann line offers a reliable power source for sensitive loads in many industrial automation environments where equipment is exposed to harsh conditions. Units are available with operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C.

The DIN Rail power supplies  are designed for installation in an enclosure and is intended for the general use such as in industrial control, office, communication, and instrumentation equipment. De-rating may need to be applied if (1) Minimum installation clearance cannot be met. (2) Altitude is higher than 2000m. (3) Device is used above 60°C ambient. Power supplies for MACH 4000 switch chassis including versions  with two inputs for redundancy, along with power supplies for the  Octopus Family of Switches. A number of these power supplies can be used where equipment is exposed to harsh conditions. Units which are marked with "Class I Div 2" are suitable for use in non-hazardous or Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C, D locations only. The power supply cables between the M4-POWER power unit chassis and the MACH 4000 are hot swappable. Reliable earthing of rack-mounted equipment should be maintained. Particular attention should be given to supply connections. When installing any device, make sure the ventilation slots remain unobstructed. Note the ESD guidelines and safety instructions.
