Kitted for Production (KFP)

  • KFP enables the placing of a single line order for an entire Bill of Materials (BOM), receiving a shipment that is 100% qualified and with components ready to be issued to the production line.
  • Substantial savings can be made by reducing costly and time consuming goods inwards inspections and pre- kitting prior to production.
  • Increased scales of economies are enjoyed as a result of this method of consolidated purchasing across all products and customers.

  • We will need your Bill of materials (BOM) issue controlled, ideally in the form of an excel spreadsheet this will need to include part numbers, circuit references, manufacturers part numbers and description and whether or not the parts are manufacturer specific or can be generic.
  • Details on any special requirements to be clearly identified.
  • Traceability requirements
  • PCB data – needs to be issue controlled, Gerber files, drill files and any special requirements noted in a Read Me file.
  • If serialisation is required then we need the range of numbers and or letters to be used in the serialisation
  • Remember that the better the quality of data we have from you means the more we can help you.
